Ramya and Abhi’s vibrant October wedding was held at The Preserve at Canyon Lake—a stunning Hill Country venue set within a 170 acre wildlife preservation. Guests gathered from every corner of Texas—and a few from overseas as well—to celebrate for a week’s worth of celebrations. On the morning of the wedding day, Ramya and her mother woke before dawn to start preparations. As the sun rose over the lake and peaked into the lavish getting-ready suite, Ramya stepped into her red bridal saree. Outside on the estate’s drive, guests gathered for Abhi’s baraat processional, singing and dancing their way to the gates. Ramya’s family greeted Abhi in the arched entrance for the milni ceremony, before leading him to the contemporary-styled mandap, adorned in bold red and pink florals. Ramya and Abhi were officially wed in a traditional Hindu ceremony lasting nearly three hours, after which guests gathered for lunch under the heritage oak trees.

Later that evening, the ballroom was readied for the "starry night"-themed reception, complete with midnight blue linens and taupe florals. Ramya dressed in a lehenga of deep blue and burnt orange, dazzling in old-hollywood style as she stepped down the grand staircase to meet Abhi. After cocktails, dinner, and more than a few heartfelt speeches, the night ended with an uproarious dance party that went well into the early hours of the morning.
