Nicole and Nick’s blowout New Years Eve wedding was the absolute best way for us to closeout 2021! The wedding took place at the W hotel in downtown Austin and oozed an elevated urban vibe. We started the day with the sweetest first look on the hotel pool deck before inviting their wedding party out to join us (and it was a PARTY with 32 of their closest friends as bridesmaids and groomsmen). Nick is a musician, so a quick snap with the legendary Willie Nelson statue was a must—as were portraits on the ACL theater steps.
Shortly after the sun set, guests gathered to watch as Nick and Nicole (and their cutie pup Lucy) said “I do.” Afterwards everyone grabbed cocktails and champagne before hitting the dance floor, which culminated in an epic balloon drop at midnight. If I wasn’t 8 months pregnant at the time, I would’ve stayed to kick it for the after party — which the groom DJ-ed himself!
