Rachelle and Abdulrahman first met at UT Austin and maintained a long-distance relationship across both the state and the globe. In 2019, Rachelle and Abdul said “I do” in an intimate ceremony at the Travis County Courthouse. Their plan was to host a big reception during the summer of 2020 (after Abdul passed the grueling bar exam) but Covid pushed the celebration all the way to 2021—28 months after their original wedding date.
Rachelle and Abdul’s love has transcended space and time like no couple we’ve seen before, culminating with an epic wedding celebration at the always swanky South Congress Hotel.
