Jessie and Brent are two of the sweetest (and goofiest) people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. When we were discussing plans for their engagement photography session, Brent suggested using his family’s private ranch on the San Gabriel River outside of Georgetown, TX. It ended up being the perfect natural setting for photos, made even better by their family’s personal connection to the land.
We explored the property together on a cool November day, with their Australian shepherd (appropriately named Shiner) bounding behind us. It honestly felt like one of those “falling-in-love” montages straight out of a romantic comedy. We ended the engagement session gallivanting around the field at sunset — complete with a herd of cattle, because, how could you not?
