Dora and LeVan’s wedding took place in the bride’s hometown of Eagle Pass, on the Texas-Mexico border. Friends and family gathered for the ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, traveling from all across the country for the event. Although he’ll swear it didn’t happen, tears streamed down LeVan’s face when he saw his bride for the first time, arm-in-arm with her father. After the two exchanged rings and said, “I do,” we headed over to the Residencial Reception Hall for a quick photo session in the waning winter light.
LeVan is the creative director of Spinning Leaf films (check out their website—they do amazing video work) and he couldn’t help but jump behind the camera to film a few shots of his new and oh-so-beautiful wife. The night ended with what can only be described as a raucous dance party, complete with a slow-mo video booth provided by the Spinning Leaf team. We had a ton of fun shooting this one—and dancing too. Thanks LeVan and Dora for asking us to be a part of your day, we truly had a blast.
