Maloree + Sean | Elopement at Roadhouse Relics

I know I’ve said it before—but I love elopements! I started to write out Maloree and Sean’s story here, but realized that Maloree probably explained it best herself, so I’m stealing directly from her initial e-mail to me (I hope you don’t mind Maloree):

“We had a large wedding planned for September in Asheville, NC but realized we didn’t want to plan it, and honestly, we didn’t even really want to attend it! We cancelled our wedding (but not our marriage!) and used what was left of our wedding budget, after losing the deposits, to buy a 5th wheel travel trailer to re-model and live in!”

Maloree and Sean moved their new home to George West, Texas for Sean’s job and began planning their new wedding-for-two.  We spent a few weeks e-mailing back and forth as the plans were finalized for an Austin elopement, and on a lovely Friday afternoon in June, we met up at their weekend vacation-rental house in South Austin.  After the dress was on and we’d grabbed a few glamour shots with the dog, Booser, we headed over to Roadhouse Relics so Maloree and Sean could get married!

The couple exchanged vows under a giant rooster with a collection of old fenders as the backdrop. It was the perfect fit for the coolest couple! And I cannot emphasize that enough—Maloree and Sean are one of the coolest couples I’ve ever had the chance to work with. Maloree will swear otherwise, but she’s lying.

After sealing the deal, Sean popped a bottle of champagne and the newly weds sat down to enjoy their tiny wedding cake.  A few more photos later, we said our goodbyes and Maloree and Sean headed off to Lenoir to continue the celebration over dinner. Any couple who eats their dessert before dinner is a winner in my book!  Congrats again Maloree and Sean!
